Chez Roberto belongs to a Sicilian dude who dreamt big when he opened his first pizza joint in Mauritius. He wanted to defy the odds by serving authentic Italian pizza, featuring various pork meat (very risky move since most Mauritians don't eat pork.) Somehow, Roberto achieved local fame and keeps high quality/price ratio.
Why you should visit it
If ever nostalgic of a nice Italian pizza, it is the place to go. The prices are local average, so about EUR10/USD12 for a large pizza, but the quality is difficult to beat. All large pizzas can be split into 2 choices - no additional charge. Also, they make giant pizzas (70cm diameter) on request.

Complimentary parking lot is located near the restaurant, right after (from Rose-Hill), or right before (to Rose-Hill.)
