Ferdydurke is like the cooler cousin of Section 8, which its balcony overlooks. Situated in a graffiti-filled laneway with views of the small courtyard, the bar also hosts live music. The bar, on the upper level, is well-stocked and reasonably priced.
If you want somewhere off the beaten track, head upstairs to Ferdydurke. While Section 8 attracts hipsters fighting for a seat, you can calmly enjoy the view from the balcony and enjoy a refreshing cider at Ferdydurke. The industrial, graffiti-style décor and wall posters are funky, and drinking becomes just that bit more relaxed above-ground.
Enter from the side of the building, on Tattersalls Lane.
