Hi Paul :)

Yes I've heard about that place. You will need to pay for the tour over there isn't it?
Yes you can join a tour from Melbourne, or if you have your own transport you can travel there yourself, you have to pay for the penguin parade , but you can explore Phillip Island for free.

Well I don't have a transport. Would try to figure out something I guess. But thanks anyways! :D
Hi there, it all depends what your interests are so I can maybe guide you somewhere in particular matching that! Meeting people is easy in Melbourne, there are lovely hotel bars and restaurants in various areas downtown that you can visit and take it from there ! But also for me to help, I would need a little more info. Thanks for getting in touch.

Based on where you have already visited in Melbourne, I would suggest day touring to these destinations:
- The Grampians
- Wilsons Promontory
- Mornington Peninsula (be sure to include a visit to the Peninsula Hot Springs).

As you like having a few drinks, try these bars:
- The Gin Palace
- The Croft Institute
- The Nobel Experiment

As regards meeting people, just say hello to a local. We're very friendly and love meeting visitors!

Hi Andria,

Melbourne is a great city. The areas I would go explore is the CBD, Bourke St mall and emporium for a days worth of shopping. Eating at the food court upstairs is fantastic. Otherwise Calia cafe is found on level 4 of emporium. I just got back from a city break and went to the country town of Daylesford. The fresh air and local produce did my well-being wonders. My other favourite go to place in Melbourne is Mornington Peninsula. If you like the beach, laid back vibe and chilling out Sorrento, Portsea or Mornington itself is a must. Oh and of course walking around the South Melbourne markets and cafes is a must. The Prahran markets is another great place to wonder in Windsor too. I’m not sure if the night market is still on at infamous Queen Victoria market in the city. But that’s a good one to walk about in at night. During day I find it a little overrated. Please enjoy Melbourne, it’s the best!! Cheers Divina

Hi Divina!

Thank you so so so much for your wonderful tips! I appreciate that :)
That's wonderful to know. I guess I have to figure out on how I could move around those area's that you suggested and yes, I love the beach. I've been to Melbourne every year and have seen some places already. Just was thinking on what are the other places to explore :)

But I will definitely look more into the area's that you have suggested to me.

Would love to also meet you in person if your available.

Cheers~
Andria
Well that all depends on what you are after. Melbourne has a ruch culture... how long are you here for?

I'm open for everything :) Actually I have been to melbourne every year is just that I'm running out of idea's on what to see or to do. I've been to the city, yarra valley, st kilda, brighton beach, 12 12 apostles etc.

I'm going to be there for approx 10 days. :)
