Why locals love it
To be honest, locals *don't* love it. It was expensive, it's hard to get there, and now no-one goes... But if you like creepy places with no people that look like they're straight out of a sci-fi movie, you should go there!
Why you should visit it
My recommendation is just to walk around! There's a lot to be found out there - cafes, boat sheds, scenic walks - there's even a ferris wheel out there, and it glows pretty colours at night-time! If you're looking for a library to chill out in, the Library at the Dock is a beautiful, state-of-the-art city library (with table tennis!)
Special tip
Catch the 11 or 48 tram to get there; go to Code Black for coffee; and when you're done, try to find your way back on foot - it's hard!
