There´s many art galleries. The best three neighborhoods for them are Polanco, Roma and San Miguel Chapultepec. There´s also a few in the Altavista / San Angel/ Coyoacán neighborhoods. There´s also several street markets devoted to painting and some sculpture, the main one being only on Saturdays, on the "plaza de San Jacinto" and nearby.

thank you San...
Cheap or good, for art Galleries Kurimanzuto in San Miguel Chapultepec, Casa Wabi or Yautepec in San Rafael. But these are not cheap. For cheap try the art market behind the Monumento a la madre during weekeends. But you Will find little more than a fruit painting for your Kitchen. Other art plazas are the one in San Angel and in front of the Bazar del Sábado, but again not great stuff...

I will try to find best one Darcia:) thank you...
Mercado de artesanías "Ciudadela" is a market with all types of artwork. sculptures, paintings, pottery, souvenirs etc. Not sure about galleries. I mostly know of the museums or murals. Maybe try the Roma district.

Hope this helps
