Why you should visit it
The park has a small beach area as well, great for bbq's and it even has cabins for rent. There are kayaks and paddle boards for rent as well as bikes. The park open around 7am and closes at sundown. It's really a great place to spend the day. There's an entrance fee so check out their website.

Come early, otherwise you will be waiting in line to get in for about 30-45 min.
