An unusual tour of the city centre

From

7.50 EUR

Most of the tourists that come to Milan visit only one part of the city centre with its famous landmarks: Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. But this is something that you can do also by yourself with the help of a guide book. In this tour I want to show you a different face of the city.

Tour by Sonia
Local

Hello! My name is Sonia and I am an Italian for foreigners teacher. I am friendly, open and curious, I love nature, good food, walking and knowing new people and places.

I live near the new Milan Fair Exhibition complex where they take place the most important trade fairs of the city. It is here that I grew up and I have lived all my life; so I can say that I have known Milan since I was born.

I work with people who come from all over the world and often I had the opportunity to meet my online students in person when they came to Milan for work or on holidays. It was showing them the city that I discovered another passion: to accompany tourists and visitors around Milan to make them see the city with the eyes and the heart of a "local", outside of the usual clichés.

When I visit a city I like walking everywhere to discover the most authentic places, those that tourists usually don't visit and that only locals know. And that's what I've always done in Milan too. In my free time I like going out with my little camera and wandering around the city, looking for new hidden treasures to show my guests.
