In this tour we will visit some beautiful and old churches: San Gottardo in Corte, San Bernardino alle Ossa, the Basilica of San Giovanni in Conca and Santa Maria presso San Satiro. And I will tell you the story of a miraculous painting called “Madonna De' Tencitt” in vicolo del Laghetto where once arrived the channel that was used to take into Milan the marble for the construction of Duomo Cathedral.
We will go inside the University of Milan to discover old and beautiful cloisters from which we can admire another famous landmark of the city: the Velasca Tower.
We will stop in the quiet piazza Sant'Alessandro and then we will visit the area around via Torino with the small and quiet streets of the old Milan that belong to the district called “Le cinque vie”, and the most famous food shop (Peck) of Milan where you can can buy many Italian delicacies to take back home with you.
