Description
The tour starts in Piazza Oberdan where in the Twenties there was “Ex Albergo Diurno”, a hidden treasure where locals and travelers that came to Milan could spend some moments of relax taking care of themselves.
Not far from this place there are two of the most beautiful Liberty buildings of Milan: Casa Galimberti and casa Guazzoni.
The tour continues in corso Venezia, a beautiful avenue with elegant buildings and in the district called “Quadrilatero del Silenzio” where we will stroll along nice streets overlooked by some wonderful buildings that represent other fine examples of Liberty Style in Milan such as: Casa Berri Meragalli, Palazzo Sola Busca and Casa Campanini.
Next stop is villa Invernizzi where there is a nice surprise for you: a group of marvellous pink flamingos that relax in the garden of the villa, waiting to be photographed by curious and tourists.
The last stop is via Lincoln, also called the “Rainbow neighbourhood” because of its colourful houses. Not far from this place we can make a relaxing break at “Pasticceria Sissi”, enjoying a good espresso and some delicious pastries.
