The tour starts in the district of Porta Nuova with its modern and futuristic Gae Aulenti square, a landmark of the new Milan. Here you can see some of the most famous skyscrapers of the city: the Unicredit Tower with its carachteristic spire-shaped pinnacle and the two twin skyscrapers of “Bosco verticale” (Vertical forests), entirely covered by trees and plants.
The tour continues in corso Como, one of the most trendy street loved by young people for its lively night life, and corso Garibaldi. On the way towards the old district of Brera, we will visit beautiful and ancient churches and we will discover the entry point along Martesana and San Marco channels, called “Conca dell'Incoronata”, where in the past it was required the payment of taxes for the transportation of goods and people.
Once in Brera we will walk along its cobbled alleys, see “Accademia delle Belle Arti” with its beautiful courtyard and the oldest pharmacy of Milan. And if you love food and wine, we will make a stop in a historical food shop and we will visit an old enoteque and if you are are tired we can do a relaxing break in one of the many cafés of the district.
The tour ends in Castello square.
