Description
Our tour begins in the town of Stresa on the shores of Lake Maggiore. If you’re staying in Milan and don’t have a vehicle at your disposal, a minivan with an English-speaking driver can easily be arranged for an additional fee.
We’ll enjoy a private boat ride through the Borromean Gulf, including a mini cruise around Isola Madre and Isola Pescatori.
Afterwards, we’ll stop at Isola Bella to explore the fanciful Borromeo Palace featuring century-old rooms, tapestries and Murano glass chandeliers. Visits to the beautiful grottoes and the world-famous terraced gardens are also included in the tour.
