Cheap Soviet-style pub
Why locals love it
It may be called Pinta VIP Pub, but the “VIP” part only serves to lengthen the name. It’s not VIP at all! Although it’s located in the very centre of Minsk, surprisingly few people seem to know about it. That’s too bad as the prices and beers are great, as is the fancy Soviet-style design. There’s even a piano for visiting musicians.
Why you should visit it
First of all, this is a great place to eat lunch. They serve the best business lunches in the neighbourhood from 12–4 pm, and the menu changes daily. Secondly, it’s a great place to spend an evening chatting with friends while drinking delicious (and cheap!) local beer.
Special tip
Order a glass of “kvas” with your meal.
