This place it´s one of the main attractions of Montevideo. All along the seashore you can walk, go to the beach, meet with friends to have a nice conversation, or do all sort of sports. Also, mostly in summertime, there are concerts and sport events on Pocitos beach.

Why you should visit it
Montevideo is a city that watches to the sea. The Rambla and the beaches are an integral part of the everyday life of Montevideo. Pocitos beach is the most well known beach, and the surrounding area is very nice too, with nice restaurants and malls.
Special tip
With more than 20 Km, it´s most attractive zone it´s from Punta Carretas lighthouse to the end of Pocitos beach.
