Why locals love it

Nestled on de Bullion street corner Duluth avenue, Arepera du Plateau is one little secret you’ll hesitate to divulge once you’ve stumbled upon it. Warm and affordable, this arepas eatery prepares the popular Venezuelan corn flour flatbread that can be stuffed with whatever your heart desires.

Why you should visit it

Crispy on the outside with a fluffy interior, add avocado, black beans, braised beef, chorizo and plenty more to your arepas. Enhance their flavour by drizzling on homemade sauces (avocado or spicy) while pairing your sandwich with fried plantains and a glass of in-house sugarcane juice. For dessert, their plantain cheesecake is the perfect finish.

Special tip

Handmade arepas are gluten-free and the menu has several vegetarian/vegan options.
