Ashukan Cultural Space

Why locals love it

More of a contemporary Art Gallery than a souvenir shop, this place was only opened in May 2015, and is a very interesting place to buy original souvenirs or presents. All the items showcased in the gallery are made by aboriginals from all over Quebec, ranging from paintings, sculptures, prints, clothing, jewelry, music and postcards.

Why you should visit it

Visiting this non-for-profit Aboriginal Arts Organization will contribute to the economic well being of Aboriginal artists. What you'll find in there is authentic, contemporary (yes, it can be both at the same time!) original, and really cool! Even if you are a budget traveler, the prints and postcards are very affordable!

Special tip

There is a second floor: don't miss it!
