Inspired by owner Alexandre Baldwin’s pharmacist grandmother, whose framed photo is up on the wall, this spot is discreetly tucked on Laurier street. The space’s sixties design is trendy yet contemporary: Glass syrup bottles lining the back shelves of the bar give the place a pharmaceutical feel while sharply dressed waiters add to the retro vibe.

The bar serves up one of the city’s best Pimm’s Cups as well as a delicious Tom Collins, whisky sour, and raspberry mojito. Perfect for a 5 à 7 or for the last stop of the night, Baldwin’s picks up after the sun goes down as the DJ spins tracks and seats quickly become scarce.
Arrive before the party crowd to snag a good seat and have time to enjoy an incredible grilled cheese sandwich filled with ham and Dijon mustard.
