Why locals love it

You’ll know you’ve arrived when you spot the pink and black Victorian female silhouette as you approach the storefront. Once inside, you’re in for a treat: With antique decor that looks like you strolled into an 18th century boudoir, the boutique itself is as impressive as the vintage-inspired merchandise – even the music is retro.

Why you should visit it

This gem is perfect for girly girls who love to play dress up. Feminine and romantic, their stock comes from several designers including BB Dakota, Pink Martini, and Coccolily. Adorned with cocktail dresses, delicate jewellery, handbags, adorable shoes, and Lollia fragranced goods, 1861 is inspired by the world of Marie Antoinette.

Special tip

Visit their original location at 1861 Sainte-Catherine Street West. It is smaller but just as glamorous.
