They have nice exhibitions of international and local artists. Even if you don't like contemporary art, it is worth it to visit the industrial style building which is very impressing. During the summer, the Fonderie Darling install the Place Publique where there are performances and public art. Free entrance on Thursdays. The rest of the week, 5$.

Why you should visit it
The atmosphere is very nice. The building itself is very beautiful with an interesting industrial vibe. They offer very good quality art exhibition. It's a great alternative arts center that has a more intimate atmosphere compared to the big museums in Montreal.
Special tip
There is a nice restaurant called Le Serpent also in the building. During the summer, there is a terrasse with a bar selling local beer.
