Le Sainte-Élisabeth - Nightlife & Things To Do in Montreal - LikeALocal Guide

Why locals love it?

Difficult to find as it is tucked in a narrow, graffitied alley on the corner of Sainte-Catherine street, Le Sainte-Élisabeth is the literal definition of a hole-in-the-wall. It may look rundown from the outside but once inside, you know you’ve found a gem. Those in the know party here and it is definitely where the locals gather.

Why you should visit it

This two-storey, European-style pub is located in an antique building, which adds to its warm and inviting vibe. Choose among a selection of domestic and imported beers, bottled or on tap, along with whiskey, cognac, and port. The bar comes alive in summertime, making finding a seat on their outdoor terrace a challenging task.

Special tip

Their enclosed, ivy-covered terrace, which is heated in winter, is one of the best in Montreal.

Gorgeous interior and an also magical beer garden, great place to surprise friends with as the door is small and strange to get to, but once you enter it's a lovely sight, especially in Summer
