These days Homestead Izmailovo is called Bauman's Town. It doesn't attract so much attention compared to its neighbour – Izmailovsky Kremlin – a famous tourist spot that’s a copy of a ruined cultural complex.

Why you should visit it
On the homestead’s grounds there are concert and exhibition halls, historical and modern buildings and lots of green spaces. You can visit historical exhibitions, listen to live music or simply explore. There’s also a sports complex and you can rent roller skates and boats at various points across the island.
Special tip
Open-air concerts in summer are usually free. Exhibitions cost around RUB 50.
