Korchma 'Taras Bulba'11
Why locals love it
Coming here is like visiting the village home of a Ukrainian grandmother. While you wait for a table you can try different snacks with a shot of Ukrainian 'nastoyka' (infused vodka). And before you leave you'll be offered another drink 'na poshoshok' (Russian) or 'na konya' (Ukranian) for luck.
Why you should visit it
In between these two funny customs you’ll enjoy delicious dishes and be served by waiters dressed in folk outfits. Sometimes they even entertain guests with songs and dances! Their homemade kvas (a popular cold summer drink with a small percentage of alcohol) is highly recommended!
There are many of these restaurants in Moscow, though this one is open 24 hours. Each has a menu in about 10 languages!
