Why locals love it
Although it’s an extension of Gorky Park, Neskuchniy Garden has a totally different atmosphere. It’s mostly green and has a vibe more suited to walks, romantic dates and sporting activities like jogging in summer and skiing and snow tubing in winter.

Why you should visit it
Escape the city buzz and visit this peaceful garden. Stroll along its paths and bridges, and look at old homesteads and fountains. You can also pay a visit to the Mineralogical Museum (located here: http://www.fmm.ru/index.htm).
Special tip
If you want to visit when it’s not busy, it’s best to come during the daytime.
