Ostankino Park
Why locals love it
On weekends this park looks like the Californian coastline, minus the ocean of course. Locals come here to jog, cycle, rollerblade, skate and ride longboards by the pond and along the shady paths. There’s even a forest zone with barbeques and tables.

Why you should visit it
Located right next to the Botanical Gardens and VDNKh park, Ostankino is part of a huge green zone in the northern part of the city. It's huge and each section has its own unique spirit, so make sure you set aside plenty of time (at least four or five hours) for exploring.
Special tip
Moscow City Hall recently decided to merge all three parks to create a single united recreation zone spanning a whopping 540 hectares!
