Hear about the history of Russian cuisine

Description

Through the centuries, feasts and meals in Russia were more about traditions and rituals than technique. Knowledge was passed on from one generation to another. It's my honour to share this knowledge at a dinner à la Russe.

But it’s more than just a dinner.

Each dish is linked to a beautiful national tradition or even my own family ritual. I'll be happy to tell you about these traditions, and the history of Russia and Slavs (more thrilling than Game of Thrones!)

It's also a cooking lesson where you'll learn how to make a perfect borsch and blini on your own!

– MENU –

Starters
Solen'ya: Homemade pickles (cucumbers, cabbage, forest mushrooms).
Pierozhki: Pastries with assorted fillings, just like my babushka used to make!

First course
Borsch: Served with salo, rye toast and sour cream, and complimentary frozen vodka!

Second course
Boeuf stroganoff: Beef slices with a rich and creamy sauce, served with mashed potatoes. More vodka, if desired.

Dessert
Hot and sweet blini: A Russian bestseller! Served with a berry garnish, honey, sour cream and condensed milk. Tea and coffee.
