(Translated from Russian) Guys, thank you for this tour through such beautiful cities of Russia as Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov and Sergiev Posad! It was interesting to visit the many monasteries, to admire their beauty and to learn history. Also, I really liked the show program in “Russian Park”. Their animators and Cossacks prepared a cool active entertaining show with weapons, horses riding and various games! Also we tasted different kinds of honey and kvass – real Russian Goodies! As it always happens with Dima and Ilya, in this tour they also had a surprise for us! I will not mention details, but it was very cool 🙂 Also, I really enjoyed the restaurants during the tour – good prices and the food is just delicious everywhere! Then we had a great trip to the stables and horseback walking through the woods! Before that I never tried it, but it was very easy to start! And amazing views of wild nature made this experience even more memorable! Guys took treats for the horses and allowed us to feed them and to feel ourselves better. Thank you for this trip and a great vacation!

My short stay with this family is definitely more than enjoyable and memorable! They are very easy going, warm hearted, kind and open minded persons. I love the time i spent with them trying out some delicious homemade food cooked by his mother. The next day we also went for a spin in a nearby town with monuments from the war in that region and a monastery. I absolutely love every moment of it! Guys thanks again for having me for the awesome time 🙂 I hope we’ll meet again soon, in Russia or in Hong Kong 🙂

I stayed with Dmitry, his parents and his wife Ilaria for 2 days, but really wish I stayed for longer. I felt completely welcomed and like at home the whole time. They’re a really amazing and sweet couple, and they drove me around so that I could see some really interesting places. They’re also very knowledgeable about history and travelling in Russia and some other places. Ilaria makes some really delicious cupcakes, and Dmitry’s mom always cooked amazing home-made meals. Both his parents are really sweet and funny (even if they didn’t speak English), and it’s a very nice family atmosphere at their place that I enjoyed a lot. It was also really fun to make my first ever snowman and have my first snowball fight with them! Thank you so much for everything! I wish you the best of luck with your new business, and really hope we’ll meet again!

I went on the Izmaylovo flea market and Kremlim tour with Alina in June. She was a fantastic tour guide - very enthusiastic (even early in the morning!) and knowledgeable about all areas of Moscow, and also friendly and personable, with lots of great suggestions for where else for me to visit once the tour had ended. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Alina for a personal and insightful tour of Moscow!

Nastya was my guide and she was delightful, informative and very helpful, not only did she help get some great souvenirs she also explained the metro which helped me get around Moscow with ease. She know a lot about the history of the city and i was interested in everything she had to stay. Alina was excellent at setting up this tour keeping informed and updated about my guide. would definitely use them again next time i am in Russia....

Moscow Kremlin tour
Vera is a dream guide. She is very knowledgeable, very friendly, fun, helpful and her English is excellent. We had a very interesting and engaging conversation about Russian history, culture, politics and local life. She answered all my questions and was so personable and, you know, like a local friend really. So happy I chose Friendly Local Guides!

Local guides than know and love their city, a must if you want to feel your tour
If you haven't met Vera in Moscow or Valerie in St. Petersburg, you will have lost the opportunity to feel the essence of the Red Square and the Kremlin complex, and its glorious cathedrals, or the intense charm of St. Isaacs, the Bronze Horseman and fortress, respectively. When you commit to a 4 hour plus tour with a stranger, you need that person to feel your level of interest on that day, commmunicate effectively in your native language, and to exude intense joy and love for their city and country. Alina, whom runs the organization, could not be more attentive to your needs and clearly has vetted out some amazingly well educated, classy and effective touring professionals. Bravo Friendly Local Guides!
