If you haven't met Vera in Moscow or Valerie in St. Petersburg, you will have lost the opportunity to feel the essence of the Red Square and the Kremlin complex, and its glorious cathedrals, or the intense charm of St. Isaacs, the Bronze Horseman and fortress, respectively. When you commit to a 4 hour plus tour with a stranger, you need that person to feel your level of interest on that day, commmunicate effectively in your native language, and to exude intense joy and love for their city and country. Alina, whom runs the organization, could not be more attentive to your needs and clearly has vetted out some amazingly well educated, classy and effective touring professionals. Bravo Friendly Local Guides!

Moscow Kremlin tour
Vera is a dream guide. She is very knowledgeable, very friendly, fun, helpful and her English is excellent. We had a very interesting and engaging conversation about Russian history, culture, politics and local life. She answered all my questions and was so personable and, you know, like a local friend really. So happy I chose Friendly Local Guides!
