Description

Moscow is always associated with two buildings: St Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin. Not everyone knows that they’re located separately. On this tour, you’ll have the chance to visit both!

St Basil’s is one of the oldest cathedrals ever built in Russia, dating back to the 16th century. It consists of eight churches that surround a ninth. One more was added later to celebrate the Russian Saint Basil. Famous for its onion domes, it resembles a bonfire.

The Moscow Kremlin is located right next to the St Basil's Cathedral. Over the years, its towers have witnessed many dramatic events that have taken place within its walls: assassinations, sieges, murders, insurrections, religious rituals, and victory parades.

During your visit, you’ll get a deeper insight into the Kremlin’s history and visit three of its cathedrals: the Cathedral of the Archangel (Arkhangelsky), the Cathedral of Annunciation (Blagoveshchensky), and the Uspenski Cathedral (Assumption Cathedral).

Hassle free way to see the Hermitage on your own
We had been to the Hermitage before, but since our friends went on a guided tour with the same conpany, we opted for the skip-the-line tickets. And boy, were we happy, seeing the humongous line outside the Winter Palace. We were taken in with the guided tour group and then we continued on our own.
A very knowledgeable guide
Olga was extremely professional and posssesed a wealth of knowledge which she was able to impart with us throughout the tour. I couldn't have done the visit so efficiently if i were alone. Because she knew not only about art and architecture, she was also extremely adept at guiding us in the most efficient way by taking us to less crowded area first and being flexible. There was a family with an infant who showed up late, but she handleded it graciously. The only "problem" was the extra time it took to get inside, as there seemed have confusion as to which group gets to go first. To me it was no such big deal, but some people might have become impatient. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Thank you Olga!
Loved the show
Nice folklore show. Great dancers and singers. The only problem is the hall. You should come early and get the first seats of you want to see it all
