This printing press was in operation during the first Russian revolution in 1905. Somehow this tiny museum still remains relatively unknown amongst locals. Those who have visited it however have not only been touched by the spirit of the 20th century, but also by that of Soviet Russia.
This is the only printing press open to the public. Time stands still here. While the staff generally don’t speak English, they usually give locals a tour for free. The museum consists of three rooms on the ground floor and a cellar that houses the printing press.
