Of all the stores and boutiques in Moscow, this grocery store located inside a late-18th century classical mansion has the most dazzling interiors with chandeliers, stained glass windows and gilded wall decorations. In the back room there’s a large alcohol and souvenir section with vodka bottles shaped as eagles and matryoshka dolls.

They also sell replica Fabergé eggs filled with vodka for a steep RUB 62,000, along with coffee beans, caviar, candy and the standard array of fresh produce. Not only is it open 24-hours, it’s also one of the few grocery stores located in the city centre making it a good place to stock up on snacks and drinks.
Although it’s a little bit more expensive than other grocery stores, it’s definitely worth a visit.
