Why locals love it

Its a 200 years old temple of lord Shiva, 1000 feet above sea level. Locals have unshakable faith in the temple and the 'Syambhu' (naturally existing) Shivling inside. The temple has an interesting past and sees millions of worshipers annually. There is a lift for people to go up if they cant climb too many stairs.

Why you should visit it

Travelers should visit the temple to know more about local culture & the topography of the area many years ago. Its also an interesting place to visit for someone who is spiritually inclined to meet sadhu baba's or just cherish some quite time.

Special tip

Mondays is when the temple is most crowded

It's calm, peaceful and of course...divine! Sitting there it feels as if time has stopped, literally.
