Description

After a comfortable pickup from your South Mumbai hotel, you will be taken to the ferry/boat point in "Gateway of India" for boarding your boat to the Elephant island and the famed caves of Elephanta, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987 to preserve the artwork. Elephanta Island houses caves known as Elephanta Caves which are rock cut temple/statues of Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh dating back to the 5th century. Later board the ferry back to the gateway of India. Arrive and meet our expert guide and the driver for the visits to the "Chor Bazzar". One of the most fascinating local market place, Chor Bazaar is home to many stolen goods, just as the name suggests. You will usually find shopaholics rummaging for goods at throwaway prices.
