We’ll accompany you on the train journey from Munich to Füssen and back, and walk with you uphill to the castle’s lofty perch where it sits gleaming above a spectacular panorama of mountains, lakes and valleys.
Once we arrive, you’ll be taken on a tour of the castle by one of its experienced guides.
It’s not just about the castle, though, but also about its wonderful location. We’ll take you to the best vantage points; we’ll visit the lake (we can take a swim if time and weather permit), admire postcard-perfect views of the equally beautiful Hohenschwangau Castle, see the waterfall gorge and enjoy stunning views from the Marienbrücke bridge suspended above it all.
To visit the Neuschwanstein Castle is to step inside a fairy tale.
Please note that the trip involves an uphill walk of approximately 20 minutes. If you prefer not to walk uphill, you can take a horse-drawn carriage or a bus, though some walking will still be necessary. The availability of these options can also be limited at particularly busy times.
