We will pick our guest at a common designated meeting point indicated that is Yaya Centre Shopping mall. We shall use a "Matatu" which is our common means of transport; a short ride into the starting point. after a briefing from this point the walk will take off through the villages in Kibera.
We will visit social sites, the famous Undugu Playground and the Nairobi Dam. We will also visit Seed School Kibera which is a school taking care of the general academic needs of the children in Kibera. The walk will also take the guest through other social impact areas where youths and transformed community members creatively strive at being resilient by self employing themselves.
These they do through bone carvings and bead works to make jewelries to make ends meet due to rife unemployment in Kibera slum.
We will have three stopping points where guests can take snapshots; of course guests can still take photos of the streets a long the way. We will also have a stopping point within a local Kiosk where we will be able to take refreshments or water. The general tour will give the guests an incisive views of the historical, political and day to day life and survival in Kibera informal side.
