Hi Jennifer!
Before answering you, I would like to make you understand that coffee in Naples is no different only as espresso coffee. It's a completely different way of conceiving coffee!
It is not at all something that keeps you company and warms you up as the espresso is something you drink practically every moment and in a second!
The bar that I would recommend to you is definitely the Gambrinus, a historic coffee shop of excellence. You will enjoy it for sure!

There are many actually. Caffe Gambrinus is a beautiful historical bar in piazza Trieste e Trento, beside piazza del plebiscito, maybe the most famous bar in Napoli, but I am not that much after their coffee, which I find too watery. Augustus in via Toledo is a small bar and confectionery with also a good coffee (no tables so you go standing). The places I like more are in the historical center: Leopoldo cafebar and Scaturchio (via Croce going to piazza San Domenico Maggiore). But the best tasting coffee to me is in a small hole always deep in via dei tribunali, its signboard recites "Nero Caffe" but I couldn't find it on Google. You go down via de crecchio, then via del sole with policlinico on the right, then you meet a crossroad and go left, 20-30 meters and you'll see the bar.

if you ask 100 neapolitans you'll get 100 different answer.
IMHO is Cafè do Brasil in PIazza Dante.
yu can also check a very historic place, an old fashioned cafè in Piazza Trieste e Trento its name is GAMBRINUS, the place is very very nice, with some old halls and great ceilings. Cafè in Naples is a ritual... in every place
