Are there any Easter festivities or traditions that I should experience whilst I am in Naples over Easter.
I am looking to experience what the locals experience.

on the cuisine side. Pastiera the traditional cake and CASATIELLO a salted tipical pastry.

you should not miss on thursday nite the tradizional dish with mussles, a must for every neapolitan. And on monday afetr Easter going to S,sebastiano al vesuvio ( a llittle tonwn close to the vulcain) to see a traditional Madonna del'Arco all day celebration. it is very very touchin... you can reach S.Sebastinao by train form central station.. the stop is close tot he Church where all happen
