September Street Fair

Feast of San Genarro

Why locals love it

For two weeks in September, Little Italy turns into a large stretch of games, food, and vendors. The streets are filled with people to celebrate the feast of San Genarro, one of the patron saints of Naples. There are dozens of delicious food options and several bars have outdoor beer gardens and such. Grab some zeppoles and an Aperol spritz!

Why you should visit it

This is one of many street fairs that occur in Manhattan throughout the year. The Feast of San Genarro is special as it celebrates Italian culture and pride in one of the city's most famous cultural neighborhoods.

Special tip

Come hungry! There is a lot of food. Be prepared to experience a lot of crowds, especially if you attend on a weekend at night!
