Why you should visit it
You won't find another spot in or around NYC with a better view. The fact that it's on a cliff over the Hudson River gives it a unique and perfect point of view. The best time to come is on a M-Thurs between 9am and 2pm. There will be very few people in the park.
Special tip
No picnics are allowed, no dogs either. You can bring a blanket to sit if you'd like, there are benches though.
