It's the closest thing to a real dive bar in Park Slope. While it doesn't make sense that you can be a classy dive bar, this is one. It's clean, has a patio in the summer, and offers up a decent selection of beer. They don't serve food, but you can order from Bonnie's Grill down the road and get it delivered.

Why you should visit it
There isn't a place on earth that warms my heart like the High Dive in winter. The place is warm, has unique rotating beers, offers free popcorn with many types of spices and hot sauces, and has a collection of board games that would make any dad jealous. They even have a board on the wall where you can buy drinks for old friends or future friends.
Special tip
Make sure you visit the bathrooms to draw a masterpiece on their chalkboard walls, or leave a note of inspiration.
