When you walk into Ippudo, It feels like a club with its hip and trendy vibe, modern Japanese decor, and the long wait for a table. The wait is worth it for the tapas style appetizers (try the hirata buns), tasty cocktails, and, of course, their flavorful bowls of ramen.

Ippudo's delicious broth was brought to NYC courtesy of Shigemi Kawahara, the "Ramen King" of Japan, so you know you're getting the REAL deal. They staff makes sure to make you feel right at home, as they all shout out a friendly greeting in Japanese as you enter the dining area.
Get there early (5pm) to land a table. You can order appetizers at the bar and have some drinks while you wait.
