Why locals love it

There is a reason their tagline is "There is always something new at Manhattans oldest house." Built in 1765, they have the colonial kitchen to prove it. Used as Washington's headquarters during the Battle of Harlem Heights. The house is currently designed to reflect the Jumel Period, the longest residents.

Why you should visit it
