The architecture is classic American Gilded, which actually differs a bit from the Beaux-arts architecture of Europe. The history is literally written on the walls. The Library houses some of the greatest treasures of the country including two portraits of founder George Washington, the Declaration of Independance, a Guttenberg Bible and more.
