I only know that he lived out east in a small part of East Hampton known as Springs. He was seen often on the East End community.

Dave, There aren’t many of the old haunts left, so let us know what you end up doing. What worked and what didn’t..

Also, THIS is going on until Dec. 30, but maybe they'll extend it by the time you get here:

Thanks for this, but doubt they will extend it long enough for me 😫
Cool question. You could always head up to Lexington Ave and 1-2-5 as mentioned in the song, but it's nothing more than a slightly skeevy corner in Harlem. Most of the key Velvets/Reed sites- Andy Warhol's Factory (both of them), Max's Kansas City- are no more. That walking tour looks good. There's Serendipity 3, an ice cream parlor that was one of Andy Warhol's favorites and on a rainy day, the best place to ever hear "Perfect Day". Ice cream's good, too. As a fan, the best Underground FEEL I could recommend is cruising the Village (Greenwich and West) on a week night, listening to the music, popping into whichever bar/locale strikes your fancy. There's a lot of queer-flavored (Marie's Crisis) and low key music (Small's, Arthur's Tavern) venues to enhance the mood.
