Turn-of-the-Century
Style Pub
The Dead Rabbit10
Why locals love it
This old New York and Irish inspired pub is dedicated to hospitality and historically-accurate cocktails. The downstairs Taproom is more informal, offering lunch daily, craft beer and whiskeys, while the upstairs Parlor has a more speakeasy vibe.

Why you should visit it
The food is good (have the zucchini fritters), but the stand-outs here are the drinks. The bartenders are extremely talented and knowledgeable, deserving of the title "mixologists." Try one of their punches, or other drinks like Benicia Boy (like Irish Coffee), Byrrh Wine Daisy, and The Fugitive (served in a porcelain cup).
Special tip
Visit The Dead Rabbit on Sundays for traditional Irish music in the Taproom.
