This tour starts in Soho, one of NYC’s trendiest neighbourhoods. You’ll learn about the local real estate and see some of the most exclusive bakeries, shops and restaurants in the area. Walking down Greene Street, we’ll talk about why Soho has such unique and beautiful architecture.
We’ll pass the Haughwout Building and the old Police Headquarters before venturing into Little Italy, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample some delicious local cuisine: cannoli, gelato, pizza and more! Mingle with locals and get the inside scoop on famous spots on Mulberry Street.
Chinatown will be our last stop. We’ll visit the Mahayana Buddhist Temple and take a peek at the 16-foot golden Buddha. We’ll then pass the Manhattan Bridge and walk into the heart of the neighbourhood. You’ll have the chance to enjoy some treats from The Original Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, the place where Chinatown got its start.
Finally, we’ll walk down Doyer Street and chat about how Chinatown has changed over the years. At the end of the tour we’ll enjoy a traditional dumpling and talk about the infamous Five Points district.
