Acchiardo

Acchiardo is a family-run restaurant at 38 Rue Droite in Vieux Nice, operated by the same family since 1927 across four generations. It serves traditional Nicoise and Provencal cooking across three dining rooms seating around 80, with about 15 further tables outside on the narrow street. It is one of the longer-established addresses in the old town and retains the character of a family trattoria rather than a formal restaurant, with a short handwritten menu and dishes such as stuffed vegetables, daube and pasta with pistou. Listed hours are Monday to Friday for lunch from midday to 14:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00, closed at weekends, which is unusual for the area and worth planning around.
