Why you should visit it
In its own unique way Aku-Aku pays homage to the famous Norwegian explorer/adventurer Thor Heyerdahl. In 1947 he sailed his balsa-wood raft "Kon-Tiki" across the Pacific Ocean to prove that Polynesian people could have been the first to "discover" America.
