Next weekend (7/8/9 feb) I will visite Oslo for 3 days....... Where can I have the best and special lunch of Oslo? :-)

I think Genki at Vikaterrassen is great. Japanese izakaya style place with great sushi. Try the lunch box set menu.

Xich lo at Eger shopping mall (4th floor) is really great for lunch, vietnamese with a great selection of wine.

Mathallen (food hall) at Vulkan gives you many different cuisines to choose from - my favourite is Barramon - Spanish.

Hrimnir is an icelandic approach to ramen, very good and interesting (at Fredensborg).

Others worth trying:
Tjuvholmen Sjømagasin (Aker brygge) - seafood fine dining
Dinner - cantonese / dim sum (city center)
Festningen - french / beef (Akershus fortress/Aker brygge)

Try Statholderens Mat og Vinkjeller (Rådhusgata 11). Fantastic lunch in basement. The main restaurant is quite expensive but the restaurant in the basement has the same quality cuisine at lower prices. It is popular so make a reservation to be certain. Reservation at Statholdergaarden.no
