A historical marker of a palace that underwent centuries of change but persevered which speaks to the history of Hungary. Dating back to the 12th century, this land has had a handful of reconstruction and many renovations through out the centuries. The evolution of the castle illustrates the great fortitude of this fortress.

Outside, see the dome of the Royal Palace, the statue of Prince Eugene of Savoy, the Mayas Fountain and the Lion Gate. Inside, time has passed thru these great castle walls and the elegant halls of: the Ballroom, St. Sigismund Chapel, Palatinal Crypt, Great Ballroom, Main Staircase and the Habsburg Room. Inside and out, it's a visual feast.
