With a compact city centre, Oslo is perfect for getting around by bike! You can cover a great distance and at the same time, enjoy all there is to see. And that’s what we plan to do. We'll give you Oslo's Urban Treasures by Bike in three hours so you can say, “This is my favourite part of Oslo” or “I want to go back there!” Starting from the city centre we head for the roots of Oslo, East Oslo. The Old Town of Oslo.
Riding from one suburb to the next, it’s time for a royal treat - The Royal Palace. Home of the King and Queen of Norway, we can’t complete a visit to Oslo without saying hello. From the hilltop, we get a great view of the city centre - perfect on a warm sunny day (we hope sunny!). Back to the city centre, we’ll take to the waterside again, this time along the Oslo Fjord and to the harbour, with a view of Akershus Fortress and the Oslo City Hall. From the harbour, it’s not far to go before we’ve reached the end of our bike tour.
Please note: We will be biking on flat surfaces as well as on a few hills. The beginning of the route is uphill for the most part. The reward is a long ride downhill once past Kampen. We recommend bringing a bottle of water with you on the tour.
