Why locals love it
Akerselva (the Aker river) divides the city center into east and west. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of cars and trams, the river winds its way through the city. There's a small waterfall/rapids around Mølla which spray a refreshing mist onto the walking path.

Why you should visit it
Take the T-bane to Nydalen T and join the train of people walking down the river towards the city center. There's usually some interesting art installations in the water near the art college (Kunsthøyskole). Check out the weekend market around Blå.
