Why locals love it
Who would think of going to City Hall for a festival? Yet many festivals and event take place at City Hall or across the street in Confederation Park. These have included RibFest, PoutineFest, and the Jazz Festival It has a free outdoor skating rink in the winter. Inside it is great place to warm up, (and use the restrooms) during Winterlude.

Why you should visit it
There are two small free galleries in City Hall. At the time of posting one is dedicated to Terry Fox a Canadian icon, and the other Yousuf Karsh a photography of great distinction. You have seen his famous photo of Winston Churchill.
Special tip
The underground parking at City Hall is probably the least expensive you will find downtown, enter off Laurier Street traveling east.
